Fueled by the simplicity of life and people, Sparrow Collective Co. was started to help create spaces in a home to love as it is - and making it beautiful along the way. This collective blog was inspired by the renovation of a 1906 historic bungalow. The process of minor alterations to this home fueled the fire for a full mid century renovation project in 2021. We shared the process on our Instagram page, but wanted to shed more light behind the design process.
Sparrow Collective Co. is an interior design blog embracing the simple moments of life within a home - mess and all! Its aim is to become the epicenter in which a house can become a home based on functionality, design and budgetary means. The goal at Sparrow Collective Co. is not making extravagant spaces; rather, it’s embracing simple designs that fit the every day ebb and flow of life.
After all, there is beauty in simplicity.
Hi, I'm Erin!
A southern girl born and raised just south of Atlanta, Georgia who has a passion for the outdoors, interior design and a good cup of coffee. I am a lover of hazelnut lattes, baking homemade sweets, high design on a budget, and my two favorite boys: my husband Michael, and dog Wrangler.
My love for interior design began as a hobby. Back in 2017, my mom and I decorated my first tiny loft apartment together. We raided fabric stores and furniture outlets, all out of a Uhaul van. (Side note, my dad was entirely shocked we actually rented that Uhaul van!) Through the unexpected loss of my parents, I found comfort in designing spaces out of sentimental value - there’s a metaphorical lesson there. Flash forward a few years, and this hobby has catapulted into a part time job outside of my full time teaching career. It’s my hope that this corner of the internet helps you feel at home, no matter where you are in life.
